Browse Bucks County 72-Hour Releases

A Bucks County 72-hour release check covers a wider span than a same-day inquiry, which can help when a custody change occurred near a weekend or holiday. Bucks County does not publish a rolling three-day list, however. To find someone released in the last 72 hours, a reader must compare current custody, a reported status event, court activity, and the jail's own release or transfer record. The wider period gives those sources more time to update, but it does not turn them into a complete census of recent releases.

Bucks County's Three-Day Release Window

No distinct official Bucks County 72-hour release feed exists. There is no three-day URL, public archive, Sheriff roster, publication cadence, retention rule, or stated set of release fields. The absence is not just an extension of the missing same-day page. Bucks County has no separate public product that lists all releases across three calendar days or a rolling 72-hour interval.

The Bucks County Department of Corrections operates the county jail system. Its public tool is a telephone lookup for active offenders. The official IVR description says callers can obtain bond, a Bucks Corrections ID, unit location, visiting hours, and other current information. It does not claim to keep people visible after release. The Bucks County Sheriff's Office does not operate the jail and should not be credited with a nonexistent three-day feed.

Weekend check: A wider time range allows for lag, but no SAVIN result, docket search, or IVR call is a complete Bucks County 72-hour census.

Check Bucks County 72-Hour Releases

The most reliable three-day method follows one person across the systems that create each part of the record. Use the time range as a working frame. Do not treat it as an official filter supplied by Bucks County.

  1. Search PA SAVIN through VINELink for the correct Pennsylvania person. Read whether the reported event says release, transfer or move, or escape.
  2. Call the active-offender IVR at 267-915-4072. A match supports present Bucks custody. An absent record does not state the date or destination of departure.
  3. Search UJS Case Information by participant name, Bucks County, court type, and status. Review bail, disposition, sentence, and later orders entered during or near the three-day period.
  4. Compare the person's name with the Bucks number, docket, booking or admission date, date of birth where shown, and any agency identifier. Similar names are not enough.
  5. Request the institutional release or transfer record when exact date, time, reason, or destination is needed. Ask for existing fields tied to the particular custody stay.
  6. Check PA DOC, BOP, or ICE when the record suggests a new custodian. Departure from Easton Road can be a transfer instead of street release.

A check confined to today is handled on Released Last 24 Hours. The three-day method gives more room for the relevant sources to post, yet the same event-specific proof is still required.

Note: Use the actual event timestamp when available, not the date when a portal was searched or a docket entry appeared.

Bucks 72-Hour Release Record Fields

There is no Bucks County public feed whose columns can be copied into a “last 72 hours” table. The practical field set must be assembled from the active IVR, PA SAVIN, UJS, and the institutional record. Each field below answers a different question, so a missing field should remain unknown rather than guessed.

FieldWhat it showsWhere it comes from
Bucks Corrections IDLinks the person to a county custody recordActive IVR or institutional file
Booking or admission dateIdentifies the custody episode being checkedInstitutional record
Release date and timeRecords when that Bucks stay endedInstitutional release record
Release code or reasonDistinguishes bail, time served, completion, parole, dismissal, or another eventInstitutional record and related court entry
Destination or receiving agencySeparates community departure from transferRelease or transfer record
Judicial actionShows bail, disposition, sentence, or a later orderUJS docket or certified court record
SAVIN eventReports release, transfer or move, or escapePA SAVIN notification or status record

A court order may explain why release was authorized without proving the moment the jail completed it. PA SAVIN may report an event without serving as a certified discharge record. The county record connects the event to the specific Bucks stay and should identify a receiving authority when custody continued elsewhere.

Bucks County Weekend Release Lag

A three-day span is most useful when the period crosses a weekend or holiday. Court, jail, and notification records do not necessarily update at the same moment. UJS warns that recent filings may not appear at once. A bail or release-related order might be entered after the legal action, and the institutional process can finish after the order itself. PA SAVIN is event-based, but agency-feed and network delays remain possible.

The Bucks Corrections FAQ is one of the official local sources for release questions. The published Corrections FAQ is shown below because it documents the county's own guidance context rather than a rolling release roster.

Bucks County 72-hour release check Corrections FAQ

The screenshot supports use of the county's corrections guidance as a fallback. It does not display names, release times, or a three-day list.

Allowing three days can reveal a later docket update or notification that was absent during an early same-day check. It still cannot resolve another hold. A second Bucks case, another county's warrant, a state commitment, a federal writ, a hospital placement, or an immigration detainer can keep custody in place after one order changes.

Bucks County Release Roster Quirk

Bucks County's official public lookup is both telephone-only and active-only. It can establish that a matching person remains reported active and can return present details. It cannot display a former record, photo, release date, three-day history, or archive. That design causes a released person to drop from public operational view rather than move into a visible “released” tab.

The next step depends on what happened. Bucks PA SAVIN information points to custody-status notifications. The county documents MobilePatrol and VINEmobile for a named person's status and alerts, not as a three-day release feed. No Sheriff app is documented as publishing a Bucks release list or mugshots. UJS supplies the judicial record that may survive a custody change. The Bucks Corrections Records Office is the route for the actual institutional file. A person seeking their own record uses DOC-LD Form 1 in person with valid photo identification. Only subpoenas may be mailed under the published process.

These channels are complementary, not interchangeable. An IVR absence is not a release entry. A docket is not a gate log. A notification is not a certified record. The institutional response is the best source for an exact physical event and coded destination.

Note: Bucks publishes no retention or update statement that permits an active lookup to be read as a rolling three-day record.

Bucks Release or Continued Custody

The word “release” must remain tied to one custodian. A person can be released by Bucks County Department of Corrections and immediately received by another authority. That is not the same as entering the community. The destination field resolves much of this uncertainty.

StatusBest checkWhat not to infer
Active in BucksCounty IVR match and current institutional informationDo not infer a future release time
Released from BucksCounty release event, time, reason, and destinationDo not assume no other hold exists
Transferred to PA DOCPA DOC locator and state recordsDo not label the transfer community release
Under federal authorityBOP locator, federal docket, and relevant custodian“Not in BOP Custody” is BOP-specific
Transferred to ICEICE ODLS for current custodyNo result does not prove release

The PA DOC locator covers current state inmates and current people under DOC field supervision. It excludes county-only custody. A supervised-person result can support release from a state prison to parole, but it does not prove the sentence has ended. A fully discharged person may disappear from the state locator.

Request Bucks County Release Proof

The institutional file is the direct route when an exact three-day event must be proved. A current or former person seeking their own Bucks file presents DOC-LD Form 1 and valid photo identification at the Records Department, 1730 South Easton Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. Published hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The county lists no Sunday hours.

A narrow request is more useful than a demand for an entire file. Identify the person, approximate admission or booking period, and the custody episode. Request existing fields such as the Bucks number, commitment authority, docket identifiers, actual release date and time, release code or reason, destination or receiving agency, and available certification. Some confidential, treatment, investigative, victim, security, or other restricted matter may be withheld.

For other county administrative records, Bucks also provides a general records-request portal. A request must identify existing records with enough detail. The agency is not required to create a custom 72-hour release list if it does not maintain one.

Confirm the Bucks Three-Day Event

Past custody changes are often easier to verify through records that outlive a live lookup. County admission and release data, a UJS docket sheet, a bail or sentencing order, a certified court record, a state Board Action, and a BOP history can each preserve part of the event. Choose the source that matches the custody type.

When searching UJS, use the participant name and filter to Bucks County and the right court. Magisterial District Court dockets can contain initial, preliminary, and bail activity. Common Pleas criminal dockets can show filed charges, disposition, sentence terms, probation, and later orders. Match the docket number and date of birth where available. Sealed, expunged, and Clean Slate limited-access cases do not appear in public Case Search, so a missing docket cannot prove that no custody or release event occurred.

For a broader named-person route beyond the recent three-day question, use the Bucks County released inmate search. The final finding should say which agency ended custody, the recorded date and reason, and whether the person entered the community or moved to another custodian.
